SAME DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN AT 7:30 AM-8:30 AM, SATURDAY, APRIL 27TH. WE DO HAVE EXTRA T-SHIRTS ON ORDER, ALTHOUGH YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED YOUR PREFERABLE SHIRT SIZE.

The Victory 5K run/walk sponsored by Baron's Pharmacy is a family-friendly, community event that is also a certified and sanctioned USATF race. Sanctioned and Certified races allow for runners to be ranked in the state and nationally! The weekend also includes a Pasta Feed, a FREE Kids Fun Run, and Bounce House fun. This race is a fundraiser for both Victory Christian Academy and Project Care Free Clinic, although, each runner is not required to raise additional funds beyond their registration fee to participate. GUARANTEED T-SHIRT (SIZE AND AVAILABILITY) CUT OFF IS APRIL 12! WE WILL HAVE SAME DAY REGISTRATION OPEN: these runners will NOT be guaranteed a shirt or a medal. However, they will qualify for awards. Same day registration is open from 7:30-8:30 am. Race begins at 9 am.
The start and finish lines will be at Victory Christian Academy (206 East 39th Street) in Hibbing, Minnesota. Race Packet Pick-Up is located in the gym inside Victory Christian Academy from 4-7 pm on Friday, and starting at 7:30 am on Race Day.
The Victory 5K race will provide chip timing, and each pre-registered participant will be guaranteed a shirt and a medal. There are multiple awards for individual and team racers, so please look through the registration information carefully. NOTE: RUNNERS, WALKERS, WHEELCHAIRS, AND TEAMS WILL ALL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO WIN AWARDS SO BE SURE TO REGISTER ACCORDINGLY & BUILD A TEAM TODAY! Entries are non-transferable and non-refundable (due to upfront costs of the Victory 5K there will be no refunds issued if cancellation is necessary).
All participants will be assigned a bib with a timing chip attached for accurate race times; however, the winners are based off of gun time (the slot you cross the finish line is the spot you achieve for awards).
Starting Procedure is as follows: Runners, Walkers, Wheelchairs, and Strollers will all have designated spaces to line up behind the start line. For the safety of all involved, these different groups will be directed when to proceed beyond the start line by the race directors.
Participants will all be given a first call, second call, and last call before your start gun goes off.
Award Presentations will take place as soon as possible after the event. The initial schedule states the Awards Ceremony will be 30 minutes following the race completion. Awards are given as stated on the event website for the 5K run, walk, wheelchair division, and the team awards. See the website www.vcahibbing.com/5k for the fun team awards available.
The Victory 5K will be subject to cancellation if any the following should occur: an ice covered course, snow fall of deeper than 6 inches that is not plowed, or lightning is present within 6 miles.
