Description:
To make any event great, it takes an entire team of dedicated and determined people! There is nothing like serving together that builds great friendships to last a lifetime; it's like God designed it that way! We are so excited to build a team of volunteers to allow the Victory 5K and Pasta Feed weekend go as smoothly as possible. To operate an organized and quality event we will need many volunteers! If you choose to serve with us, we will have itinerary, directions, and clear communication for expectations and time commitments. We know it's usually the busy people that get things done, so come join us for this incredible team building weekend! There are multiple areas suited to each person's gifting that can be assigned. AREAS OF SERVICE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Pasta Dinner--set up, clean up, cooking, marketing, coordinating and collecting donations (prior to event); Victory 5K--race marketing, welcome table, assembling participant packets, same-day registration, packet pick up, race set-up, race clean-up, food tables, greeters, coordinators of each volunteer area, fundraising, donations (collecting prior to race for prizes), and many race-day operations (such as awards, kids fun run, bounce houses, starting line, finish line, etc.). Each volunteer who registers will be given an official Volunteer T-shirt for helping! Please wear this shirt to the event so that participants and community members know who they can go to for assistance. PLEASE NOTE THE OPTIONS FOR VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE UNDER "RACE CATEGORY". PICK YOUR CATEGORY, AND IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PLACES YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP, FILL IN THE BOX! Notes:
Our goal is to have a Volunteer Coordinator who will direct and coordinate the rest of the volunteers for the Victory 5K. This position includes all volunteer communication, direction, and assigning of roles to new volunteers. All volunteers will have clear instructions and written procedures for the job they are assigned.
